Another exercise in futility: What are the adjectives for each region denoting a person's place of origin? eg IRL; AmeriCAN, JapanESE, MéxicANO

Unovan seems to be the only obvious one to me. What could be the others?

Shinnoan, Kantoan, and Johtoan are possibilities. Hoennese, maybe?

Do any linguistfags know the actual rules for creating these words?

Those places arent countries but regions. It would be like calling some one who lives in los angeles a Los angelian or some one who lives in new york a new yorkian

Well first of all, we do do that, in the form of "New Yorker".

I know these aren't countries, but we don't have knowledge of any greater locational distinction in the Pokémon world. As such, those are the ones we will turn into adjectives.

Most US states have one: New Yorker, Californian, Floridian, Hawaiian, etc. Plenty of cities do too, like Philadelphian.

Did you even read what I wrote? Or what anyone else wrote regarding regions being turned into adjectives?

Or should I just remind you that any noun, no matter the meaning, can be turned into an adjective, given the correct suffix?

Take a look at the regional adjectives as well as the country adjectives. Notice how the letters added at the end arent quite the same?

Unless you know some one who considers themselves "houstoneese" for example

While Im aware that there probably is an adjective for such a case, bear in mind that the end of the adjective is usually reserved depending on region/city or country for example. Thats all Im trying to say
