I have never posted here before, but this needs brought to peoples attention.
I play pokemon tcg and vcg competitively, and frequent the pokegym forums, as almost all other competitive players. Today, this thread popped up, claiming former US national champion Gino Lombardi and a friend, Jon Bristow, had stolen his macbook and about a $1000 in rare cards out of his bag at checkout at the hotel that the pokemon company was paying for.
Here is a link to the thread. Within the OP's post, he has links to the security report with the hotel that he filed after the incident, as well as security cameras showing Gino and Jon with his items.

Also within the OP's post is the TPCI's (the pokemon company international) response to Mees (the Dutch player who got robbed) in which they wash there hands of the incident, because it happened during checkout of the day after worlds. Not at there event, not there problem was what they told him. The email he received back was signed by Dave Schwimmer, who is the head of play! pokemon organized play.
Im not sure of what im trying to accomplish with posting this here. I just want it to be seen i guess. I highly encourage you to look at the thread and see for yourself.
It hurts that the game i love so much is turning more and more into yugioh every day. Excuse me while i vomit.
