So I am playing heartgold right now, and I have just arrived in Eutreak city or however you spell that. I really like to have my team varied and use pokemon I have never used before. The problem is with some of the pokemon they need stones to evolve, and johto has no damn stones anywhere for some retarded reason.

My current team is
Exeggcute
Hoppip
Togepi
Paras
Poliwag
Quilava

And in my box I have
Mareep - used
Gastly - used
Hoothoot - used
Caterpie - used
Ditto
Sentret - used
Sudowoodo
Koffing

I was wondering if I should ditch Exeggcute for now and then return to training it when I get to kanto and instead use koffing, which I have never used before, also I don't know if I want togepi on my team because I'm planning to get a voltorb and togepi is the only one I would think of replacing with one.
