I never really use the 3D feature anyway so it isn't a huge deal to me. Still, it's weird that some of the game just ISN'T in 3D for seemingly no reason. Nintendo has never released a 3DS game that was only in 3D SOMETIMES.

I don't think there has been a 3DS game yet that was 2D with 3D only during some places. I THINK OoT had 2D cutscenes if you used the shiekah stones.

And even if it is 2D with 3D battles, I don't give a shit. I rarely use the 3D effect.

I do, but I'm one of the few people who doesn't get crosseyed or get headaches while using it.

But at the same time I'm also not gonna cry and moan when one game doesn't really provide it. Doesn't matter to me.

I tried out the 3D option a few days ago at one of those demo stands.

Looked like shit and as far as I can tell didn't even really work right, though I guess that could be because I'm wearing glasses.

I barely ever touched the 3D. I wish it wasn't a slider so I could switch it off permanently without having a fucking child lock on all my settings.

Honestly I never understood the interest in that fake 3D layering effect. It's not proper 3D and the game itself IS 3D, in that it has proper 3 dimensional shading and environments.

It just chucks everything into one of three layers and pretends its extra 3D.
