Every Unova E4 was very relatable (sans Marshall, to an extent), at least to me.
Grimsley seems like the highest-class bro you could ever have but yet somehow not a dick. Shauntal is that sweet, secretly-dirty (non-shitty) fanfic writer that's got her vivacity and
sexual desires wrapped up in mystique and a sort of spooky charm, like when you're a little kid up in the middle of the night with a close friend playing in a blanket fort with flashlights and cuddling innocently while there's a raging, howling storm outside, that kind of spooky charm. Caitlyn is that sort of bedhead we'd all like to be at times; just someone who can rest and rest until rest almost becomes a chore; a sort of delightful, fanciful apathy you might only get if you were a multi-billionaire in real life. Marshall is less interesting, but relatable nonetheless; he's like that competitive, fiery guy that lies within us all that tells us that we just need to get a little bit stronger to beat that next challenge.
Again, everyone sans Marshall had a lot of potential. It was mostly wasted.
