Obviously, there are statistically more boys who play to win as opposed to girls, but I also wonder if the "expert" portion there is even further skewed by girls tending to be more humble about ranking themselves competitively and boys ranking themselves higher. Not saying that's a fact or anything, but wondering if maybe it could hint that as well.
