I kind of like how GF is giving us "mainstream" dinosaurs now, as opposed to things like Trilobytes and Archeopteryxs. We never really were over saturated with "generic" dinos before, so this is a nice little taste.

It'll all come down to it's stats, really. Even with those moves in it's arsenal, it has to have either the speed and special to hit hard and fast, or the HP and defense to take a walloping. I'd guess it probably won't be too light on it's feet, so we'll have to hope it's other stats can keep it alive long enough to dish out the damage.

The closest dinosaur matching Amaura and it's evolution is Amargasaurus, a sauropod with sail-like spines lining it's neck and back. This is supported by Amaura's in-game fossil, the "Sail Fossil". It's design also draws from Aurora Borealis, or the "Northern Lights". You probably know about it, but simply put it's a fantastic display of lights and colors that can appear above the arctic and antarctic regions at night. Aurorus' sails resemble those ribbon-like lights, and the diamond studs on it's body resemble stars.

Also I found it a bit demeaning for the Royalty Pokemon to have tantrum as part of it's name. Not really majestic.

At first I was going to choose Amaura, since I figured that even though it looks kinda crap it would look great upon evolution.
That didn't happen. If anything it got worse. I wanted majestic, but instead I got Meganium with a bad haircut.

Tyrantrum, on the other hand, is WAY more than what I expected of Tyrunt. I though it would be a really bland brown t-rex, really vanilla and boring, but I was wrong as hell. Definitely picking Tyrantrum.
I mean, it's a fucking T-rex with a crown and robe. Jesus Christ, that's amazing.
