SR was an attempt to nerf Flying types since they were immune to Spikes and Earthquake. Whether you think they went to far is your own opinion.

More entry hazards like that would have to be unstackable, otherwise some things might instantly die after switching in at full health.

Besides the Infernape line, D/P/Pt has no non-legendary fire type pokemon.

But they only poison, they don't do based damage based on type. Why is rock so special?

If they'd added an ice type stealth rock they could have left fairies out, dragons would have been gimped by a single move.

Ice really would have made so much more sense than rock, dragon, ground and flying would have been nerfed, grass too, but that's beyond saving.

How could you forget about Ponyta/Rapidash? They were the only non-starter/legendary Fire types. Also Flareon, if you want to count that.

Azurill is harder to catch than Marill. Makuhita is harder to catch than Hariyama. They are literally the only two families in the entire pokedex where the evo is easier to catch.
