Kanto: Squirtle. I chose Charmander as a kid but I was a careless youth back then. Now that I am more mature I realize Squirtle is far cuter.

No torchic. I probably actually wont even use Squirtle that much. Two, let alone three starters makes it way too easy.

Yes, but presumably it'll be the only way to get Blazikenite, at least for X/Y. You could still get the torchic, take the blazikenite, and then release it.
