>>13911824That's because most hacks suck. Take any hack aside from difficulty hacks and I can show you where it's lacking. Even hacks considered the best, like "Light Platinum" are riddled with problems, like all the goddamn handouts, and the fact that both RED AND ASH are in the game. As a matter of fact, don't even add Red or Ash to your hack, or any characters Gamefreak make except for the Pokemon themselves.
Liquid Crystal is probably the best fully custom hack, and it could be almost flawless without Team Saturn, the Development Team's trainer cameos, and the extra rivals (one extra would be fine, though). It gets a pass on the "using Red" because it's a remake.
