Ash's age wasn't mentioned in AG or DP but it was incredibly obvious he had gotten older, and the older you get, the more mature you become and the more competent you're. DP Ash was the closest we've ever gotten to a mature Ash, and people are hoping for that again after the abomination/reset that was BW
