No but there's a special tomorrow showing off new anime and gameplay footage, a special in two weeks showing off more anime and gameplay footage, the games release, and then it airs on Oct. 17th with the English dub of it airing two days later.

Well the show does show new Pokémon every episode, the first episode even has a Meowstick in it, it's pretty hard to air it before the game is released unless it's devoid of anything new, which is unlikely.

No he isn't. The art changed and he got new clothes. People keep thinking he looks older when he just looks different. Give it time, we'll get Kanto flashbacks with him looking exactly like this but in his old clothes.
