>>13919856If you've played the first ones for the gameplay, you'll be disappointed. It's infinitely easier. Items are literally thrown at you. The DLC dungeons are there to make grinding non-existent. It's really casual, and you can clear the game without wiping a single time.
They've also toned down the features. Less starters to choose from, no personality quiz, and a lot less Pokemon overall since the transition to 3D means they can't just reuse resources.
On the other hand, the story is still more or less on the same level. If you liked the plot of the first two, then this one will still be pretty okay. It's not as good as Time/Darkness, but it's still pretty okay.
tl;dr don't buy it if you only care for gameplay, buy it if you like plot/casual
