I've always used the version legendary during my first playthrough. Slapped Lugia, Groudon, Dialga, and Zekrom on my team each time. Will likely do the same with Yveltal.

All of those things make sense since yes, it is specifically called the Destruction Pokemon. You cannot have a Pokemon that embodies destruction/transformation (like in many Eastern religions) without it having to deal with death/having a design that showcases power.
