Fuck you /vp/. I was in a thread discussing the X/Y anime and everyone was raving about how good the D/P anime was. So I gave it a shot. I really, REALLY want to hate it, but I just can't. I'm probably going to marathon the episodes all weekend. What the fuck have you done to me?

The Sinnoh arc had some surprisingly mature moments Paul/Hunter J episodes, and the League is God tier.

Best the anime has been since Johto (They both have the same amount of filler)

Hopefully X & Y will retcon the bullshit from B/W, and give us the anime we have wanted for over 10 years.

Huh. Sounds pretty good, OP. The only region I ever completed watching was Kanto and the Orange Islands episodes. Can someone recommend which ones to watch and which ones to skip?

Well, in DP they spend like 20 episodes headed to Chocobine town or whatever only for Dawn to lose a contest there, so honestly most of those can be skipped.

The Gym battles, and the league are the best the anime ever had, and the Hunter J episodes are possibly the best Pokemon episodes ever.

And some of the filler is even good.

Just watch it all, and if you aren't 'feeling' the episode, skip it.

Why? It's probably tied with Battle Frontier as the most mature and action-packed sagas the anime has ever gotten.

Hell, Ash used his old Pokémon too, and he ended up making it to the Semi Finals, how fucking cool is that?

Right, I wanted to hate it because of how much I hated Sinnoh but the anime has got to be the best arc we've gotten since Kanto. There's pretty much no reason to watch Jhoto other than "muh nostalgia" and Hoenn was "eh" at best. But this shit is amazing.

What are you talking about faggot? The anime isn't supposed to adapt the stories of the games, but the events can happen, just like any other adaption. To be an adaption doesn't mean you use the exact same story as the main material. Do you know what alternate stories are?
