Okay, so they have changed a lot this time around.
>ridable pokemon instead of bicycles
>ridable pokemon use Rock Smash possibly replacing that HM
>running is possibly(probably) replaced with roller skating
>new fairy type
>starter received from friend as opposed to receiving it from the professor
>Sky Battles
>lots of other stuff

I thought about this and other things they may have changed that hasn't been announced yet; what if they have changed flying as well?
I'm thinking in this game may lead to you encountering pokemon during flight which forces you into a sky-battle. It would be such a waste if sky-battles are only something you can take part in during certain times and events in the game and then you forget about it. Flying could be more like surfing. Maybe they could introduce a new HM which makes you travel in the air (like Dive), and when you fly in thick clouds you could encounter wild pokemon.

I like Sky-Battles and I would hate for it to go to waste. Flying could be like surfing.
