>>13924579It forces me to try out Pokemon I wouldn't have otherwise, while locking me into a team more or less, preventing me from getting overwhelmed with choices and wanting to completely rebuild my team from scratch come gym 6 and again before the E4. At that point I usually just get annoyed and quit the game.
