I use only pokeballs and I don't use false swipe or anything other than paralysis, but I only ever paralyse through things like body slam so it's not a given.

I use a gallade with hypnosis and taunt, cause it looks cooler and smeargle's shitty attack makes false swiping take forever. (Though technician + stab to make it 80 base is nice)
