If Unevolved Pokemon had Mega Evolutions, which Pokemon would you want to get them? What would the Mega Evolution be like?

I think there's a decent chance of Pikachu getting a mega-evolution.
It'd be interesting if Sylveon was actually just a mega-evolution of Eevee, since no other regular evolutions of old Pokémon have been shown.

All of the other mega evolutions have been called 'mega mewtwo' or 'mega charizard', so sylveon having its own separate name points to it being a regular evolution.

I do wonder if we'll get any more evolutions of older pokemon, however.

When I first heard about them, I figured it was all fully evolved pokemon, but that seems unrealistic.

What if Eevee had multiple Mega Evolutions with different types? Like Mega Eevee Electric Type was reminiscent of Jolteon while Mega Eevee Fire Type was similiar to Flareon? Statistically however, they would work differently.

I hope Mega evolutions don't mean some Pokemon just get left behind because they get a Mega (Which is not as good as a full evolution in the slightest)

Ehh, the eeveelutions seem to fulfill that job well enough.

I'm curious how they'll handle the Normal-type, though. Or if they would at all. If there's any Pokemon that is big on DNA changes, it's Eevee.

....and Deoxys. Wonder what happens to him.

I think this would work best for Pokemon whose evolutionary lines don't really fit in a "linear" thematic fashion or just plain don't make sense:

Of course, all I've really wanted since Gen 2 was some sort of love for Farfetch'd.

Eevee, Mega - Eevee serves as a normal Evolution give it normalize and decent stats and it would have a lot of potential

pikachu, for obvious reasons

really any of the pokemon that evolves by stones would be okay, Their DNA is already effected by radiation more than other pokemon, so why not expand on the Idea
