What's the best nature for Dialga?

The one I have has 305 Sp.Atk with Timid nature, should I soft-reset?

Modest is best for dialga, and timid is best for palkia
Dialga has more bulk but less speed than palkia, so there's no point in using a timid dialga.
Also anon, the IVs are random, so try to get a good IV spread

I soft reset and got an Adamant Dialga but its sp Atk is 286, the timid one had 305, what the fuck?

I think you can get it, but you'd have to pick up dialga first, and maybe exit the pokemon center, go back in, and then you can get palika from him.

You can pick up Dialga, and then immediately after getting it from the guy if you've still got an open spot in your party you can talk to him again to get Palkia. No need to leave and come back in, they handled it so that the events can "stack" when you talk to him. The one you did furthest back comes up first in conversation with newer ones coming up last.
