Blue is the most common favorite color, so he also had that going for him.

Why wasn't Samurott more liked then? Samurai are huge, not only Japanese culture, but the world in general.

Croagunk and Toxicroak, 2 pokemon that resemble toads/frogs and are played out to me martial art machines, not a huge following.

Implying that the second you force fighting frogs into a game to try and carve of some of the Naruto hype train, which isn't that great, is lunacy. And anyone who can come to the "logical" conclusion that fighting frog = Naruto should neck themselves.

The point difference between Fennekin and Froakie seems pretty meaningless and I say this as a guy who likes both of them equally.

I think Fennekin might be appealing to both boys and girls but a shitton of boys are gonna go with Froakie because frogs have that "really cool/gross" factor to them (which is why I started to like them as a kid).
