The red one is sold out at Best Buy/on their website. When I tried to pre-order one at Gamestop, I got through the entire checkout process and received the message "You have too many in your cart. Adjusting number." I only had one, so it emptied my cart. It's only a matter of time until the blue one follows. Walmart and Target still have them in stock, but you know they're going to disappear quickly.

Glad to see these are selling out. I can't wait to re-sell this to somebody so they pay for my game + some. Yes, I'm an awful person.

The pIkachu 3DS actually looked unique. Nice yellow outer design with a nice white inner portion as well. This shit is the generic 3DS with decals.

I would have considered keeping one if the paint wasn't glossy. I don't understand glossy paint on electronics. If I get even $250 for each one, I'll have made $100. That pays for my game and the life size Fennekin plush I ordered off of Pokedoll USA.

I have a 3DS but I sort of want an XL just so I can use the new Pokemon Time cover (the one below the starter cover) and I like that the whole thing is matte so no fingerprints.
I never used those covers before, but Pokemon Time stuff is adorable and it looks nicer than the LL hard case on the bottom.

Don't get Nerf armor, it sucks, i have both nerf armor and the comfort grip,
i prefer just the carbon fiber skin when i'm taking my 3ds xl out, and i put on the comfort grip for longer gaming sessions for less cramping,
the nerf armor's just useless for me right now. about the same level of protection as the comfort grip, but less comfortable

If you pre-order you're guaranteed one. From my understanding, every store is alloted 10 3DS's total (five or each). Once they meet that quota, then they can't take anymore pre-orders.

Another option is they receive 'x' amount of pre-order 3DS's + ten extra for walk-ins.

Regardless, if you pre-ordered and have a deposit down, you're safe.

I actually just bought that one its pretty solid. It won't protect falls but no scratches and you can see the design of the 3ds too so.

I enjoy the matte look/feel my black XL has. Plus I'm not really in love with having Xerneas or Yvetal on my system.
However if they release that gold one that japan got, I would buy the shit out of it. That bitch is fine
