For the cool never-going-to-happen route, he shows up as an unnamed vigilante trainer who single-handedly clears out the facility where Team Flare is cloning a Mewtwo. You only learn about him by going through the wreckage of the facility like the Pokemon Mansion on Cinnabar, where you read logs about Team Flare's Mewtwo and transmissions from increasingly afraid grunts/scientists as they get stomped (much like the Space Pirate logs in Metroid Prime). You hear more in the post game from Team Flare admins, who tell you he fought the new Mewtwo to a draw and it was forced to flee to an island off the coast of Kalos, where you can challenge it later.
