I think I figured out why all of you hate Quilladin so much.
You see the shell as his entire body instead of just the armor shell that he's inside of.

I see him as a strong knight that wear super big, but protective armor and is no where near the size of his shell.

I can't be the only one who sees example 2 instead of 1
