Today, I just used the Matsuda method on my old Pearl cart and managed to get a Shiny Gible after 15 eggs when I was trying to get a Jolly one. It's Rash, which I know is fucking awful competitively and I bred all attack moves on it, and Shiny Garchomps aren't much different looking, but still. I'm amazed at my luck and kinda bummed I missed the weekend shiny hunt. Can't wait to take this into Gen VI.
What's the luckiest shiny encounters you've had? I've heard stories of getting shinies with a few minutes of another,for example.
