>Butterfree was supposed to evolve from Venonat, Metapod into Venomoth
>Cubone is related to the kangaskhan line
>Giovanni is everyone's dad


Should Game Freak just come out and say what's actually gone down? Ruin these fanfics with a pure extended universe? Or is this still just a kids game with neat "things" thrown in because they'd make "neat" pokemon?
