For the competitive play.
Pokemon is much more than "little monsters that kill each other", no person will ever understand just how technical this game is when it comes to the mathematical values that they won't know existed if they quit playing because they "grew out of the little monsters".

Why aren't you playing GTA V like the rest of us OP? Did you pre-order Call of Duty Ghost yet? It's the best game man. My bros and I pre ordered some Mountain Dew and Doritoes to pick up at Midnight after we get our Mature games.

Just because a game is marketed at a certain demographic, doesn't mean it can't appeal to others. They're fun to play, simple as that.

I didn't discover Pokemon until I was 21 and in college. Reason why I never picked it up earlier because of shit like this, and looking normal was my stupid goal in high school. Noone I know plays Pokemon then and now, which is why I'm happy I can spaghetti all I want here.

I started with Diamond in high school. Fucking loved it have over 180 hours on it. Got soulsilver and got bored quickly after beating the E4 a second time. I didn't even get to the 5th gym in Black. Never even got Black 2.

The only reason I'm even here anymore is for the drawthread.
