Despite being a Legendary Genesect has a shit movepool and doesn't excel in any area except for being a glass cannon among a group of Pokemon who can both deal and take huge amounts of damage
Water types can accomplish anything an Ice-type can offensively, with much less risk and a greater versatility in movepool, abilities and access to good weather support.
Grass is super-effective against Water and Ground, much more common than Psychic and Dark types. Most Psychic Pokemon explode if slightly touched and Dark is already weak to the much better Fighting type.
Bug is resisted by more types than any other, and has all of two decent non-Legendary Pokemon to its name, only one of which will actually carry a Bug-type attack.
