Do you think with XY that RNG abuse will see a decline? While I know it's possible to RNG a Pokemon in an older game then transfer the Poke to XY, I have to wonder if RNGers will find a way to RNG the new monsters. Thoughts?

Will people find out how to RNG? Yes, definitely. The specific way it works will be cracked. The question is will it be feasible on the cartridge. The progress form bw to bw2 made it much more difficult with a lot more Timer0's and eggs being locked when generated. So really, it's a matter of how long people will crack it, and how easy it will be to do.

The problem with egg abuse is a bug caused by lazy coding on GF's part. It's comparable to the bug in gen 1 where everything has a chance of missing in terms of how badly it was coded.

Gen2 eggs can't be RNGed because of a glitch: The FIRST egg that's produced runs up the Wild Pokémon RNG, not the Egg RNG, and swaps around during RNG calls.

Probably. Smogon will figure it out. I think when BW came out they did in like three months?

If they have trouble cracking it, you can always Pokebank your old RNG abused mons from BW(2) and it'll probably go along smoothly.
