I can't remember the middle-stage between Axew and Haxorus.

I think after a while my brain ran out of storage space for all the names of 650+ pocket monsters. It sometimes deletes gen four Pokemon to remember gen five.

I know all of them by name if you show me a picture, can't just pull them all off the top of my head though, and up through at least Gen 3 I could identify them by cry as well (barring Gen 1 faggotry with multiple pokemon having the same cry)

I can name every Pokemon from Gen I - IV without flaw.
But I won't lie and say the same for Gen V, because the names of these 4 always elude me.

Strangely enough most of the ones I can't remember off the top of my head are from Gens 4 and 5.

Goddamned Sinnoh was bland even though Platinum, to me was awesome and fucking Unova wasn't as awesome as I would have liked.

Some people just have this problem. I like to think I know the names of all pokemon, but one month ago, I forgot the name of Cryogonal. The first 5 gens should be burned in my memory by know, though. Just in time for a new generation.

I know the names of every Pokemon. However, After I played Black and White in English, I couldn't remember any of their names except Swoobat and Oshawott. I kept thinking back to their Japanese names. I have a very good memory when it comes to putting designs with names.

I had a huge gap (many years) between Gen III and Gens IV and V that I played almost at the same time and at the beginning I had much trouble with remembering the names of all the Pokemon from those two generation that were new to me. However, the best way to remember them is just to keep replaying the games. I started new save files over and over again since I wanted to try out new teams and I eventually ended up remembering all the names.

I give the GBA a pass but did not feel like playing with sprites when I had better looking PC games at the time. But the DS? Man the PSP had pretty great hardware and managed plenty of great 3D games. Nintendo has no excuse if they wanted to be cheap with handheld hardware. Besides they had some great 3D games like Resident Evil Revelations.

It really wasn't that bad. Dragon Quest IX looked great and I doubt it was the best the DS has to offer. GF held on to sprites for too long.
