Going by the usual times, the new pokemon evolution should be revealed within the hour.
What are your expectations and which pokemon do you think will be getting the evo?

Really that soon?

Pretty confident it's going to be Helioptile's or a past gen's. Helioptile and Litleo kinda go together acknowledging the typing pattern and they've already revealed Pyroar, so yeah.

WPM did say something about a helioptile evo in his latest leak so I really wouldn't be surprised if it was.
I'm really hoping for a dragon type eeveelution though.

Pokemon that are yet to have their evo's revealed: Skrelp, Swirlix, Clauncher, Spritzee, Helioptile, Quilladin, Braixen, Frogadier, possibly Honedge, Bunnelby, and Dedenne and Furfrou being the most unlikely.

That's still quite a list to choose from.

Furfrou could evolve the Burmy way, but I find it pretty unlikely.

I mean of course it could be Helioptile, Clauncher etc, but those really arent important enough for a facebook update. Especially considering that fact that they wouldn't reveal Clauncher without Skrelp, Spritzee without Swirlix yadda yadda. I don't think it will be Orotto, since hes been confirmed for horde battles (which means I highly doubt its a fully evolved poke)

My best bet would either be an Eeveelution or Sableye, or an older poke

fingers crossed for Eeveelution!

Those are some good points.
I completely forgot about Sableye. There's all this talk about megas (which we all know Mawile got) that we haven't even thought about what he will get.
Could it be a mega evolution or is he not popular enough?

Certain patterns, yes but It's fair to expect (whether we actually get one or not) a second Eeveelution because the pattern is extremely blatant and kind of a 'Tradition'

But if you look at the way they've handled this, that should take precedence over the pattern. If they have a purpose with this new Eeveelution, that being to pioneer a new type, it doesn't make much sense to make a second one just to stick with a "pattern" that's really only two seperate instances.

Well, not really.

They didn't reveal Sylveons type for a reason, they didnt want to give away the new fairy type. If they would have brought out a dragontype Eeveelution, then (following previous patterns of having stronger/weaker Eeveelution) we would have know for a fact that they were introducing a new type, since Ice, and dragno are dragons only weaknesses, and both we already have both of those eeveelutions

You're just bring this back to patterns again. Just because they've done some multiple times before doesn't guarantee they'll do it again.
If there was another Eeveelution I'd be really happy, sure, but from what I've seen, I think it's really unlikely.

I never said that this garuantees anything. All I said is that I think its highly probable that we will see a second Eeveelution.

The marketing, basically.
They put this huge emphasis on Eevee, and especially with that Sylveon special, I can't imagine why they would choose to miss out including a second new Eevee type in a special that includes all of the eeveelutions. There's no reason for them to hold onto it for so long.

And correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Sylveon's type still unrevealed when the special came out? That demonstrates that the purpose was to display Sylveon, not the new fairy type.
So it just doesn't make sense to not use a second new Eevee if they had one.

Well yeah, he has a good point. I'm not sure why they didn't include Mega Mewtwo X in the movie, but I assume there must have been a reason for it because they didn't. I haven't actually seen the movie, so maybe it's to do with there only being one Mewtwo, or something?
The Eevee special on the other hand could have very easily included a second new Eeveelution.
I don't know, I'm just speculating here. If they do reveal a second new Eevee, I'll be happy and retract everything I said, but until then I'm going to remain doubtful.
