I usually don't care about them doubling up on evolutions since they usually do it on pokemon questionable designs anyway, but I do have to say that I am very disappointed they went this route with Honedge. I was expecting it to evolve into something more than a dual blade. there are so may ideas that could have spawned from it, but they went with this. Here's to hoping it has a third stage that's designed differently.
Honestly, the Metagross line was the one that handled "it's two of them combined" the best way.
