I'll admit, I've always had a soft spot for the Pokemon movies. Sure, they have their flaws, but the bump in animation quality is a nice thing and they have that whimsy to them that takes me back to my childhood. I remember when the first few movies came out - seeing Pokemon on the big screen was exciting, and even when they stopped putting them in theaters, I still found a way to watch them and have a fun little two-hour viewing experience.

I think it was around the Diamond/Pearl movies where they really started to dip in quality. Maybe it's because I was much older at that point, but even though I recall liking the DP anime, I just couldn't get into the movies that went along with it. Then they went ahead and released two movies for the first BW movie... which seems like something they should've done with one of the first few movies.

Nonetheless, one of these days I want to sit back and marathon all the movies, including the ones I haven't seen. They're something you watch more for the experience than anything.
