Anyone else here still conflicted about which version to get for those that choose one version over the other? Are you basing your decision on the design of the legendaries? The name? The typing? The exclusive features Like Mega Mewtwo X and Y? Hell even the names?

red is cooler and edgier. Clauncher is cool on its own and I thought I'd pick X for it, but it's also pretty generic. Feel like Skrelp got more potential in its evo. Same with Spritzee. Indifferent to the legendaries. Neither of them would sell the game for me.

I always buy the first game of every pair (Red, Gold, Ruby, Diamond, Black etc.) So I'm getting X. I like X's exclusives better anyway. Except for Swirlix, which can go fuck itself.

Without resorting to spouting buzzwords like "majestic" and "edgy", this is pretty much the reason I chose X. Xerneas looks cooler to me, plus I really like Clauncher and Mewtwo X

I wanted X originally, before any of the exclusives were known. But Skrelp is one of my favorites so far, and (even though I don't use legendaries) I want to name Yveltal "Atomsk".

Either way my friend said he would get the opposite of the one I choose. He just may not get it for a while, and hes busy with college stuff most of the time.

I didn't like gigantic horns deer so I just didn't choose X. I already preordered Y.

My case is different.
I have a JP 3DS and I'm getting X & Y.
The problem is I wanted one of them to be US version so I could get local distributions, but I don't know if they will continue the tradition of making the US version region free, and the language selection makes it very unlikely.

Nope. These are all the exclusives in the whole generation. No other exclusives at all! Just the legendaries, Mewtwo, and 2 others per game.

Seriously though. The game hasn't even been released yet, these are the exclusives that are known to the public.
