I don't know why anyone supports this junk simply because MUH CHILDHOOD. Pokemon should be recognizable regardless of what gen it is. I know the fad died out, but that doesn't mean you have to pretend it's still 2000 because that's all anyone recognizes. The old pokes still exist. Why doesn't anyone remember that? Huh? I thought that was why Pikachu was still the mascot after all this time. Just put some old pokes by the new ones. Easy. I know you'll never get back anyone who honestly thinks they've grown out of it, but for those of us who have lasted this long, we would appreciate it if pokemon was recognized for what it is and not for what it was.
