As a kid I enjoyed the games and anime. Nowadays, I'm not getting the same enjoyment out of them but they're still fun and I still like the anime even though I never get the chance to watch it(havn't watched a single episode of gen 5 season) and sometimes the pokemon communtiy can be fun. Never read the manga and probably never will.

Honestly every time I see an anime thread on here I'm dumbfounded people still watch the anime, especially if they're over the age of ten.
A Pokemon anime that isn't shit is possible, but we'll never get it. Just out of curiousity I watched the last episode of Best Wishes or whatever where Iris and the green haired fuck leave. The writers have completely given up, and I applaud the optimism the community shows in their misguided hopes X and Y won't be he same cut and paste garbage:

The manga is actually a pretty nice read. It's everything the anime should have been.

It used to be just collecting and battling for me and watching the show every time it came on. I was obsessed with it as a kid. Plenty of Pokemon merchandise and a collection of Japanese cards. Then I lost interest, most of my merchandise was sold. And afterwards, my interest in Pokemon came back to me in the form of Dawn. I love Dawn out of everything in Pokemon. She is evidently the best girl and even when I lost all my interest in Pokemon again, Dawn is the reason why I'm still on /vp/. She's the best girl. She's perfect. Everything about her. She's the best waifu.
