the earths climate is constantly in flux, it is not changing any faster or slower than it has been for the past few billion years.
you should look at weather records that go back further than the 1990s. the 1500s are well recorded to be much hotter than recorded temperatures now, and the 1700s were literally called the mini ice age. Right now the earth has just been returning to where it was before.
