I'm not trying to be funny or anything, but I seriously don't see the changes made to Mega Venusaur.
Mega Charizard has the extra horn and everything, Mega Blastoise has armcannons now, but what happened to Venusaur? The thing on his back kinda shoots up an inch or something? I seriously can't see it.

The website seems to imply that it's body is also bigger, but I'm not sure abouti.

I've always liked Venusaur (Charizardfag 4lyf though) and I think it's fine. It's not WHOA HOLY FUCK like Blastoise or WOW FINALLY like Charizard. It kind of fits Venusaur's personality in that sense. It's just a bigger growth. If you unfocus your eyes a little he looks like a small jungle, which I guess is what they were going for. Plus if you can't tell that there are multiple canopies of leaves you must be blind. If it were me, however, I would have changed the plant petals themselves and added a vine-covered tail to emphasize the -SAUR part.

I agree that it's not nearly as exciting as what Charizard and Blastoise but saying that the tree just got taller is stupid.

No. Mega Charizard is better than what could have been, and I'll tell you why. It's precisely BECAUSE he stays Fire/Flying. Charizard doesn't NEED to rely on the kiddy Dragon type to be good. They're illustrating a point here; that they know far more about Pokemon mechanics than smartasses like Smogon. Giving it Drought and making it master of Sky Battles is something no one would have foreseen. Making it Fire/Dragon would have just made it a mediocre Reshiram.

Also, he gets arm wings and a plane-like head spike. No edges here.

Well, considering Mega-Blastoise and Mega-Charizard look extremely worse than their counter parts.

Mega Venu, Mega Mewtwo(x), and Mega Mawhile are the only decent forms.

Are you actually arguing fire/flying with drought is better than fire/dragon with levitate? No more water, ground weaknesses, which are much more common than dragon and fairy. Better stab combination as well.
