So just curious but who owns a 3DSXL and if not why not?

At first I was a little against paying for something I already owned but my wireless features died on my original 3DS.
So I ended up buying one, pic related.

Got mine a few months back, just the solid color one. Heard the battery life was longer and I imagined that my hands are the size of a kid's, figured it would be best to get the XL. No regrets.

I still need to get two, one for me, one for my girlfriend. I want the one in OP's image but I don't get paid until the 5th. Any UKfags here know how the supply and demand is with these things? I really don't want to miss the limited editions but I just can't buy them if I don't have the money.

OP here, I get what you mean about the whole hand size thing; I don't have giant hands or anything but I used to get cramp from playing long amounts of time like on Fire Emblem or something, hopefully this will fix that.

Just picked up the same one as you OP, but Im keeping it in the box and it'll go with some of my other collectors edition/limited edition stuff.

Worst case scenario, I sell it in a month or two and make my money back/make a little more than what I payed

From what I've heard, stores were only given fifteen or so of each color. They may not be in stock.

I'm waiting for my boyfriend to get back from work. He's going to pick it up on the way home since it's already paid off. Got blue/black.

That doesn't even matter in the end. The 3DS XL is about the same size as an original DS, so it's not like it's a big difference.

Awesome! Yeah, I stuck to that blue DS for years until I got the pink/white XL last December. The difference in screen size/resolution is amazing. Sucks that my pink one broke, but I'm replacing it today.

Went to best buy yesterday to preorder and their systems fucked up, so they just put one aside for me. Got there an hour after they opened this morning and there were none sitting with the normal 3ds's. So I went to pick it up from the front of the store. There were about 6 or 7 red ones behind the counter and probably just as much blue ones behind that. From what it sounded like, all of them were definitely reserved by a reorder and the extra one they told me they had yesterday was already gone.

Tl;Dr good luck trying to get one of these in person if you didn't preorder one already.
