What you’re referring to as Alphamon, is in fact, Alphamon Ouryuken, or as I’ve recently taken to calling it, Alphamon plus Ouryumon. Alphamon is not a jogressed-ultimate Digimon unto itself like Omegamon, but rather another free component of a fully functioning Jogress system made useful by the Ouryumon corelibs, shell utilities and vital system components comprising a full DigiCore as defined by Yggdrasil.
Many Digimon tamers run a modified version of the Ouryumon every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version jogressed with Ouryumon's Sword which is widely used today is often called “Alphamon”, and many of its users are not aware that it is part-Ouryumon, evolved from Ryudamon. There really is an Alphamon, and these people are using it, but it is just a part of the jogress they use.
Alphamon is the core: the Digimon in the system that allocates the machine’s resources to the other programs that you run. The core is an essential part of an Digimon, but almost not as cool by itself; it can only be that awesome in the context of a complete jogress. Alphamon is best used in combination with the Ouryu Sword: the whole system is basically Ouryumon with Alphamon at the helm, or Alphamon Ouryuken. Many of the so-called “Alphamon” distributions are really distributions of Alphamon Ouryuken.
