High school dropout here. I'm currently in my second year of medschool and I have a part time job and don't live with my partner away from my parents. I drive a car and have a reasonable social life.

Yeah, you can get a GED, then go to community college for a two year and then transfer to a four year for an undergrad diploma, then go into med school with that.

And there are some technical fields within medicine that only require technical school training.
