I need to get back into Pokemon.

I haven't played in months and really want to play right now. So don't tell me to wait for X and Y. What game in the series should I play to get back into the series? I have basically every game but FRLG or Emerald, and I'm not restarting B2. What will help me get back into the series?

I generally am mediocre at Pokemon, and I am too lazy to EV train Pokemon for battle facilities. And I never cheat.

Alright. Any good Hoenn Pokemon I should try? Only gonna use 4 because I hate being over leveled, but not too underleveled, since there are no audinos in this game.
