The fake image was resized and some parts were blurred / clone brushed off (mainly the sky over parts of the trees, and to add clouds) so it wouldn't be as noticeable. The dark grass from the battle circle was moved up to hide the bright green grass in the background and to make the scene appear different. Unfortunately this caused the aforementioned "too short" effect.
In short, fake.
