You know, as much as you guys hate forums, maybe they are that way for a reason. So that the idiocy that happens here doesn't happen. I will agree that Serebii is too infested by noobs, drones, and giant kiss ups, and BMG is far too uppity and infested with people obsessed over a single anime character and nothing else. This place is not better, though. You can't be civil if your life depended on it. Freedom? This is why anarchy doesn't work. You're like a kid that's been left unsupervised and they don't know to behave, and then everything ends up a smoldering ruin. You do have rules? For one thing, I find making this a SFW board when you have to be over 18 to even be here stupid, and that has not improved anything in the slightest. All it has done is attract the people who want to pretend they're still children because they think that's the way the franchise is. The truth is that you need rules for dealing with the idiocy or better ways to enforce it. I'm not talking banning certain topics because that is not the way. I'm talking making people stop trying to cause trouble. If you don't like it, stay out of it, simple as that. If you can't stay out, then we'll throw you out. If that's being a Nazi, then so be it. Nobody should have to tolerate people who just want to be trolls.
