I heard the same thing, but for the grass you couldn't access outside the wall along route 1. You ever made it over those walls before and into that tall grass? You can find rare shit like Mew and even Pikablu in there.

Actually because you're not supposed to access that tall grass, the game just glitches out on you and you have to restart your game.

My friend isn't the type to lie, but he got REALLY MAD over the fact that we didn't believe Pokémon games don't have fucking co-op because they don't.

Freak coincidence, assuming they didn't have a basic understanding of the game's mechanics. The first report of it was isolated to one site (I believe it was a forum) a took a good few months to catch on. There's a site somewhere dedicated to Pokémon glitches and the webmaster talks about how they passed it up at first, then experienced the regret of not hosting it themselves when the hype train got rolling. I don't /think/ it was TRsRockin, but it was something very much like that.

It's been a long time.
