-cards are plain giftcard looking things with the game's logo
-Newer versions of the cards have Xerenas/Yveltal pins on the back of them. Make sure you check since some stores have employees taking the pins off of all of them....
-When you pick up the game you get a $5 giftcard. An anon from Target said that apparently we're also getting a $10 card on top of that for a total of $15, but I haven't seen any other mentions of that anywhere. We'll probably know closer to launch when the ads leak out.

-double sided poster with Xerenas/Yveltal on the front, map of Kalos on the back
-If you preorder AND purchase both, you get a History of Pokemon poster. You'll only get the poster when you pick up the game.

TRU just recently got in preorder cards, but they're lumped onto one with 5 other games. No bonuses for preordering, but you'll probably get something on pickup.

male initially, but support pokemon are useless in the main game. I've really warmed up to the female's design though. She just doesn't give a fuck. Some trainers love it's unsociable air, indeed.

Yeah. I was going to pick X, because I like Xerneas a lot better, but Skrelp is my new favorite pokemon. I love it. I saw a fake evo leak of Skrelp awhile back, I didn't hear about the octopus thing. I can't see Skrelp evolving into something like an octopus, being that it's design is based on a leafy sea dragon.

I really like Xemnsa more than Yveltal.
A deer like creature is a bit better than an "edgy" dark dragon.
But all the other exclusives are better in Y especially the mega mewto (psy makes abit more sense than psy/fight).
I can't decide.
I wish we would know a bit more.
Maybe there will be version exclusive places like White forest and black city

Octopus are one of my favourite animals, so I'm just hoping for this. If it just gets bigger and become more like a dragon, I'm fine with that.

X has the masculine Mewtwo, and Y has the smaller, feminine Mewtwo, though.

I'd argue that Skrelp is more feminine than Clauncher, but not in a bad way. It seems more cunning, less direct and aggressive.

Why wouldn't we? That way the store doesn't have half the people not show up to pick up their copy. It's to ensure that the store doesn't end up with a bunch of extra inventory that they can't move.

Yvettal is going to be named Shishigami, as in the forest spirit from princess mononoke.
Definitely going Fennekin master race. I can't quite decide on a name. Everyone's going to pick the name Vixen I'm sure...it's really killing me. I have to get the name right. It's going to stick with it for a long long long time
