Other big games have lots of threads around release too, especially Dark Souls and nobody complains about those. This board is just fucking retarded and unneeded, and breeds unnecessary and dangerous secessionism (for example fucking retarded edited reaction images just for the sake of trying to distance yourself from the other boards, literally the same cancerous behavior as ponyfags for instance). So fuckwits want to keep this board separate from /v/, and what does this accomplish? The board's original purpose is useless, because the community is so distanced from /v/ that people can't just casually make their pokemon related threads here, and otherwise use the main board. Being a section of /v/ for pokemon threads is exactly what this is SUPPOSED to be, but there are retarded fuckers treating this like a separate board. The fucking "v" in /vp/ is there for a reason, this is a part of /v/ and you shouldn't try to separate them.
And this board is useless by now, there's only traffic for a moment when some big news hits, and even those are contained in stickies, which could just be done in /v/. At other times it's dead and filled with retarded, useless, errant shit in an attempt to justify that the board is needed. Which it isn't.
Basically, all this board did was kill the original pokemon-playing community on /v/ by handing over their supposed board to any retarded kid who happened to come across (this is thanks to that period of absolutely no moderation when the only posts that were deleted were CP). During that period nothing stopped shitposters and all the good users went away. Now, the userbase is almost completely segregated from the main board and an alarmingly large portion is underageb&, normalfags and other undesirables.
