ITT: Disappointing spin-offs
I heard a lot of good things about the game, yet I was sorely let down in every aspect aside from its stellar soundtrack, which I found to be one of the best on the DS. The gameplay was repetitive beyond belief and rarely engaging beyond a few boss fights, the graphics during the dungeons even more bland than the gameplay, and the story, which people have said great things about, ended up only a bit better than the main series. The story may appear excellent if you've never played a game that's not pokemon, but that'd be about it. Still only cost me £10, so I'm not too upset. I only played up to the credits of the main story, do the special episodes do anything different? Is the post-credits stuff better?
What other spin-offs disappointing you?
