no but i nuzlocked black2 my first play though. the initial release of an gen i play though normally but the second release usually isn't too different so a nuzlocke makes it more interesting.

but really, why would you limit yourself so much on a first run? think of all the pokemon you'll miss out on due to the first encounter per route shit, think of all the evolutions you won't see because a pokemon died

Why? I don't agree with OP, but people who do Nuzlockes usually keep to their own, low-traffic thread and are some of the least offensive people on the board. There's no genwars and trolls, just people sharing their adventures.

How is that bothering you? Especially considering the threads are the most easily filterable on the board.

Nuzlocke runs are supposed to make a boring game you are used to seem fresh again. Alternately it makes a game you know way too well more difficult.

If you play the game normally the first time, you wouldn't be surprise anymore during a blind nuzlocke run in your 2nd play through. And this is the first time since, ever that we can actually do this blind run at world wide release without knowing what going to happen.

It's what I did for White, so, yeah, probably.

Normal runs haven't done anything for me since Platinum. Nuzlocke was kind of a blessing for me, it reinvigorated my love of the series.

I probably will. I wasn't planning on it at first but now I think I might. Since my first nuzlocke I've never really been able to play pokemon without those rules. And with each gen usually the "missing out" isn't that much of a problem because there are only one or two you'd probably choose to use anyway, and this way you actually might get an attachment to something you didn't expect.
