My team currently is Croconaw, Weepingbell, Aipom, Pineco.
Croconaw at least has that caveman thing going for it (though Ferali is pretty boring), Bellsprout's evo line is constantly changing and looks interesting each time, Pineco goes from a pinecone to a freaking FORTRESS and well, Aipom didn't evolve in my gen, but I kind of like the one-hand to two-hand thing.
Loads of pokemon have cool little gimmicks behind them. Like, even though Doduo and Dodrio basically have "same but bigger", Doduo's heads always agree while Dodrio's always disagree, that sort of thing.
